Mutation details: A targeting vector was designed to insert the Itgb4 cytoplasmic domain up to amino acid 1355, a stop codon, an SV40 pA signal, and a neo immediately downstream of the exon encoding the transmembrane segment of the protein. Immunoprecipitation and FACS analysis on primary karatinocytes indicated that the mutant protein is expressed at the cell surface.
