Mutation details: A human BCL6 gene is expressed by this transgene. Transcription is directed by a tetracycline-responsive promoter element (tetO). When bred with another transgenic mouse expressing tetracycline-controlled transactivator protein (tTA) to create a bitransgenic animal, BCL6 expression can be regulated with the tetracycline analog, doxycycline. This line of mice had approximately 20 copies of the transgene.
