Quantitative trait analysis of 109 male progeny and 101 female progeny from an ASB [(A/J x M. spretus) x C57BL/6J] interspecific backcross was used to map Par1 to mouse Chromosome 11, near the Rara locus at D11Mit54 (Fig.1), with a lod score of 5.3. The following order of loci on mouse Chromosome 11 was determined: D11Mit41, Par1, Rara, D11Mit54, D11Mit67, Hoxb, D11Mit126.
