• Mutations: Insertion, Intragenic deletion
• Mutation details: A 3' portion of exon 2 was replaced with a cassette containing IRES-lacZ followed by a polyadenylation signal. The targeting vector contained a floxed puromycin resistance gene, however this was excised via cre mediated recombination, leaving only a single loxP site following the lacZ cassette. The expression pattern of lacZ was shown to be similar to that of the endogenous gene. (J:86911)
