• Mutation details: Exon 2 was disrupted by the insertion of a neomycin selection cassette. Multiple stop codons were generated upstream of sequence encoding two putative zinc fingers. Northern blot analysis showed an absence of normal transcript and identified an aberrant transcript containing neo. Neither normal nor truncated protein was detected by Western blot analysis of MEFs derived from homozygous mutant mice. (J:33986)
