Mutation details: Tyrosine to phenylalanine mutations were introduced at positions identified as being critical for the binding of signaling molecules (136, 175, 195, and 235) via site-directed mutagenesis. A floxed neomycin selection cassette was inserted downstream of the coding region. Mice carrying this allele were bred with transgenic mice expressing cre recombinase via the EIIa promoter to generate Lattm2.1Lov.
