• Mutation details: Part of exon 4 and part of intron 4 was replaced with a loxP flanked neomycin resistance cassette. The resistance cassette was removed in the germline by Cre mediated recombination. Northern blot analysis on RNA derived from homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable transcript was produced from this allele. Western blot analysis on brain lysates derived from homozygotes confirmed that no detectable protein is expressed from this allele. (J:69290)
