The SMXA (SM/J x A/J) RI line was informative in mapping suggestive QTLs for Body Weight, Insulin, Triglyceride and Phospholipid in selected RI Strains. In female mice a QTL (Triglq2) influencing Triglyceride levels in blood mapped to mouse Chromosome 11 and was associated with D11Rik146.
