Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutation:    Insertion   Mutation details: A neomycin resistance gene was inserted into exon 1 at codon 68. Western blot analysis on embryonic kidney lysates derived from homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable protein was produced from this allele. Immunohistochemistry expermients confirmed that homozygous mice did not express detectable levels of the encoded protein (data not shown). (J:63195)
