Reference: J:48569 Grove EA, et al., The hem of the embryonic cerebral cortex is defined by the expression of multiple Wnt genes and is compromised in Gli3-deficient mice. Development. 1998 Jun;125(12):2315-25
Assay type: RNA in situ
MGI Accession ID: MGI:2136866
Gene symbol: Gli3
Gene name: GLI-Kruppel family member GLI3
Probe: pGli-3a
Probe preparation: Antisense RNA
Visualized with: Alkaline phosphatase
Assay notes: Authors report that the Gli3 probe was derived from a 0.8 kb mouse Gli3 cDNA (Hui et al., 1994). One- and two-color in situ hybridization was performed using digoxygenin- and/or fluorescein-labeled probes, detected with alkaline phosphatase-conjugated anti-digoxigenin or anti-fluorescein antibodies. Color reactions were carried out using different alkaline phosphatase substrates, resulting in different colored products as indicated in some of the figure legends.
