Mutation details: Using CRISPR/Cas9 endonuclease-mediated genome editing, a guide RNA (5g89T [5'-TGTCCCTTTCGGGGTGATCG-3'] and 3g68T [5'-AAAGGCGACAGCTAACTGTT-3']) were used to introduce an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) sequence into the C terminal tail and an IRES-iCre/ERT2 (a codon-improved Cre recombinase fused to a human estrogen receptor ligand binding domain) cassette into the 3' UTR of the G protein-coupled receptor, family C, group 5, member A (Gprc5a) gene.
