description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(SRY-YFP)p16Svs expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgene insert comprises the YFP reporter gene cDNA under the control of 1.6 kb of the porcine SRY promoter. The transgene was co-injected, and co-integrated, with the Tg(Tyr)TashTNpln transgene. The reporter is expressed in migrating neural crest cells, and in undifferentiated gonads in genital ridges of male embryos (and weakly in female ridges), cranial neurons, branchial arches, and dorsal and ventral root ganglia of the trunk from embryonic age E11.5. The reporter is also expressed in newborn and adult testes. (J:367887)
