Mutation details: The transgene insert contains the following elements: the 5' PiggyBAC transposon inverted repeat, Taar enhancer TE2, mouse Hsp68 minimal promoter, tdTomato reporter gene, beta-globin poly(A) signal sequences, and the 3' transposon inverted repeat. The transgene was injected into single-cell zygotes together with PiggyBAC transposase mRNA to facilitate integration into the genome. The reporter is expressed in olfactory sensory neurons (OSNs).
