TS27: greater epithelial ridge Present Regionally restricted 4A Prdm16cGT/cGT Base Merge , 4A Prdm16cGT/cGT Middle Merge , 4A Prdm16cGT/cGT Base TUJ1 , 4A Prdm16cGT/cGT Middle TUJ1 Ectopic hair cells, labeled by Myo6, were detected in the Kolliker's organ. The number of ectopic HCs in the whole cochlea ranged from 6 to 32 cells/cochlea, and they occurred either in clusters of 4 to 5 cells or as individual cells. Tubb3 immunostaining revealed that the ectopic cells were innervated with nerve fibers running through the Kolliker's organ.
