Mutation details: CRISPR/Cas9 technology generated a 13-bp deletion leading to a frameshift that shortens the protein by three amino acids introducing a premature stop codon at position 610 (T602LfsTer7). This deletion was generated by simultaneously injecting C57BL/6N zygotes with two sgRNAs targeting Birc2 (5-TCTGCAGGGGGACAATCAAG-3) and Birc3 (5-ATCTGTAGAGGGACCATCAA-3) and was generated at the same time as the Birc3em1Haka allele.
