Mutation details: A DNA construct expressing the ectodomain of the human IL-4 receptor (residues 1-198 of the mature alpha-subunit of the receptor) and residues 473
to 610 of the human GP Ibalpha mature subunit (GP1BA) was inserted downstream of a 3-kb human GP Ibalpha (GP1BA) promoter cassette. Transgenic mouse lines Tg33 and Tg51 express surface fusion protein and were chosen for further studies.
