description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Epitope tag, Recombinase, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Agrptm4.1(cre/EGFP)Rpa expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe targeting construct introduced a cassette containing the following features, without the nuclear localization signal, using a nonoptimal initiation codon, a cre recombinase gene fused with EGFP (cre/EGFP) with N-term sequence removed, and a myc tag with an additional 3 untranslated region from the Myc gene that promotes a short messenger RNA half-life. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette introduced downstream of the fusion gene. It is a revised "version 2" of the allele Agrptm1.1(cre/EGFP)Stei designed to have an attenuated expression of Cre:GFP. (J:295967)
