Mutation details: This trasngene expresses m157, which is the murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV)encoded ligand for the mouse Klra8 (Ly49H) NK cell activation receptor, under the control of a ubiquitous CMV promoter. The m157 ORF encodes a deduced 329-aa polypeptide. m157 contains a potential N-terminal 21-aa signal peptide, and an ectodomain with five potential sites for N-linked glycosylation. However, a putative hydrophobic transmembrane domain is interrupted by a stop codon. No line numbers were given.
