Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Gata1-cre/ERT2)2Mym expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe mouse BAC clone (RP23-443E19) containing the entire Gata1 locus is driven in hematopoietic cells by 659bp fragments consisting of the three regulatory elements of the Gata1 gene, G1HE, dbG, and CACCC elements combined mini-gene (MG). The expression cassette consisting of Cre/ERT2-polyA-Neo was inserted into the endogenous Gata1 initiating ATG by recombination. The correct clone was then used for Neo excision. Founder information and line numbers were not available. Two lines (Line 1 and 2) were established and used for the study. (J:243995)
