Assay type: RT-PCR
MGI Accession ID: MGI:6850702
Gene symbol: F2r
Gene name: coagulation factor II thrombin receptor
Probe: PAR1-pC, PAR1-pD
Visualized with: Ethidium bromide
Assay notes: Data from Table 3. Quantitative reaction using a mimic product (a subclone with a deletion introduced - pRMS11). Titrated amounts of control, mimic product into the RT reaction prior to amplification allowed the estimated copy number of transcript in the wr/wr spinal cord compared with wild type.

Notes:
(a) In control animals, expression was biphasic, with high to low levels in the embryonic spinal cord and a second peak during postnatal development and continued low levels in the adult. wr/wr mice display elevated expression as early as E12, which continued at this level into adulthood, with a possible further increase (8 fold) in the early postnatal period.
