description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Nkx2-5tm1.1(cre/ERT2)Rard expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsUsing homologous recombination in ES cells an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) linked to the gene encoding a nuclear-localizing recombinase cre fused to ERT2 and a hygromycin resistance gene cassette (pgk-HYGROpA) flanked by yeast flp recombinase target (frt) sites was inserted into the 3' UTR of the endogenous locus. pgk-HYGRO-pA cassette was removed by crossing to Flp recombinase gene expressing mice.
