Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Epitope tag, Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Zbtb7b/CD4-cre,-CD2)#Tani expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA 562base pair fragment of the Zbtb7b silencer sequence was inserted into a mini-transgene containing the minimal Cd4 enhancer-promoter-cre. The sequence encoding an internal ribosomal entry site and human CD2 were also inserted downstream of the cDNA cassette encoding Cre. The transgene expresses Cre specifically in the CD4 lineage. Founder information and line numbers were not available. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:193392)
