Mutation details: The transgene consists of a myristoylation/palmitoylation site-attached GFP (myrGFP) inserted into the start codon located in the exon 2 of the Pvalb gene so that it is under the control of the mouse Pvalb promoter. The modified BAC transgene construct DNA was purified and linearized then injected into pronuclei of B6D2F1 mouse zygotes. Three founder lines I, II, III were generated. Line II was used for the study.
