(a) After implantation, expression of the gene gradually increased, peaked at E8.5, and decreased at E10.5. A limited dilution analysis indicated that E8.5 decidua expression level is approximately 100-fold higher than non-pregnant uterus and E12.5 placenta (shown in Fig. 7B).
