TS28: retina inner nuclear layer Present Regionally restricted 8C , 8G Expression was detected in type 2 bipolar cells. Expression was undetectable in Hcn4-immunolabeled type 3a cells, except in rare instances where very faint levels were noted.

TS28: retina inner nuclear layer Present Regionally restricted 8H , 8D Ectopic expression of Vsx1 was prominent in Hcn4-expression bipolar cells. There was no significant change in the number of Vsx1-labeled cells in the mutant.
