Mutation details: Plasmids encoding a guide RNA was designed to insert a improved icre-ER fusion gene (an iCre recombinase fused to a human estrogen receptor ligand binding domain) between exon 3 and the 3' UTR of the chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 2 (Ccr2) gene. An enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) sequence was inserted downstream of the icre-ER, and viral P2A oligopeptides, from porcine teschovirus-1, flank the icre-ER fusion gene to mediate ribosomal skipping.
