TS26: neocortex Strong Graded 4A Graded expression was detected in layer 4 extending across most of the rostrocaudal extent of the neocortex; expression is strong rostrally and declines to very low levels near the extreme caudal pole of the neocortex. Layer 5 is also differentially expressed, with high expression restricted to the rostral pole and a rapid decline to very low levels at the midpoint of the neocortex. Expression was very low or nondetectable in the caudal half of the neocortex.
