Mutation details: The transgene construct comprises the following elements: the mouse keratin 18 promoter/enhancer, the coding portion of the human TAR DNA binding protein cDNA, sequence coding for myc tags, and synthetic poly(A) sequences. The transgene was micro-injected into C57BL/6 eggs. In this allele the keratine promoter drives the expression of the C-terminally myc-tagged TARDBP gene.
