Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsa transgenic vector was constructed with the involucrin promoter vector which contained the first involucrin intron, an SV40 intron, a beta-galactosidase gene, and an SV40 polyadenylation site. Mouse cDNA encoding the full length of ZO-1 and Venus cDNA was replaced with the beta-galactosidase gene in the involucrin promoter vector. The promoter drives expression of a fusion between the gene and Venus reporter gene. One unnamed line was generated. (J:267304)
