Mutation details: The human cDNA was placed behind a minimal CMV promoter and five tetracycline responsive elements. The construct was microinjected into the pronuclei of FVB/NCr embryos. The exogenous gene will only be expressed (in a tetracycline/doxycycline controllable manner) if mice containing this allele are crossed with mice containing a tTA or rtTA allele.
