Quantitative RT-PCR. The cDNA clone (IMAGE 1229776) was used as a template to generate a standard curve for monitoring the efficiency and reliability of the data. The comparative Ct value method was used to calculate the relative quantity of mRNA in different samples. Data was normalized to the values of Gapdh and Tgfb. Two primer sets were described in the publication; the one used in this assay was not specified. Either MGI:6161800 or MGI:6161801 could have been used.
