Mutation details: The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 102840780 of Chromosome 13 upstream of exon 3 (Build GRCm39). The cassette contains an FRT site, lacZ coding sequence, loxP site, human beta-actin promoter controlling a neomycin resistance gene, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site, was inserted upstream of exon 3. Another loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3 at position 102843438. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked lacZ neo cassette, leaving exon 3 floxed. Exon 3 encodes the majority of the coding sequence for the gene.
