Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter) Mutation:    Insertion   Mutation details: The linearized BAC clone (RP23-317C9) encodes the last four exons of mouse Bmp5 and the first exon of Hmgcll1; it was co-injected with a minimal hsp68-lacZ reporter. The clone was isolated from the RPCI-23 female (C57BL/6J) mouse BAC library and contains a sequence that drives expression in the lateral perichondrium of embryonic ribs. Robust expression is observed at E14.5 dpc. (J:248382)
