Mutation details: The transgenic construct contains cDNA encoding the entire extracellular domain of mouse Selp fused to a C-terminal 8-residue epitope for the Ca2+ dependent mAb HPC4, under the control of the mouse Alb, albumin, gene promoter, and a 3' bovine growth hormone poly(A) signal sequence. Founder mice stably express approximately 3.5 higher levels of the protein in plasma.
