Mutation details: The construct used to create Tg(Cela1-cre/ERT)1Dam was used to generate this transgenic mouse line. The construct contained a fused 200 bp enhancer of the elastase gene to a minimal hsp68 promoter followed by CreER coding sequence. Five founders were identified that showed acinar-specific expression.
