Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Constitutively active)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsExon 13 was modified such that an S571E muatation was created in the translated peptide. LoxP sites were inserted in intron 9 and intron 13. An FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted between exon 13 and the loxP site. The neo cassette was removed through flp-mediated recombination. The substituted glutamic acid mimics phosphorylated serine. (J:239053)
