Tg(Pdgfrb-cre/ERT2)6096Rha expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsBacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library (CHORI) was used to obtain a BAC (#RP24-62H17TJ) containing the entire murine platelet-derived growth factor receptor, beta polypeptide (Pdgfrb) gene. This BAC was modified to insert a creER fusion gene (a cre recombinase fused to a human estrogen receptor ligand-binding domain) into the start codon of Pdgfrb to drive expression in mural cells. The other genes on the BAC (Camk2a, Slc6a7, Cdx1, Csf1r, and Hmgxb3) are still present in the construct. (J:236848)
