Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsAn F3 site flanked puromycin resistance cassette was inserted upstream of exon 7. Exon 9 was replaced with a modified one in which nucleotide substitutions (GAA to GCT) that result in the amino acid substitution of glutamic acid with alanine at position 861 (p.E861A). This mutation is predicted to produce a catalyticly inactivated protein. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:226177)
