Mutation details: A full-length aP2 promoter/enhancer, which is adipose tissue-selective and active during fat cell differentiation, drives the expression of a human full length CIDEA cDNA. Four lines were generated including 13, 67, 76 and 85. In transgenic line 67, the levels of human Cidea were high in brown fat and very low in white fat.
