Mutation details: A full-length aP2 promoter/enhancer, which is adipose tissue-selective and active during fat cell differentiation, drives the expression of a human full length CIDEA cDNA. Four lines were generated including 13, 67, 76 and 85. In line 13, human Cidea was expressed in both brown and white adipose tissue at levels similar to the levels of the native mouse Cidea in brown fat.
