Assay notes: Fixative was 0.2% glutaraldehyde, 2% paraformaldehyde and stained embryos (<E10.5) were postfixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and embedded in paraffin. Later stage embryos (>E10.5) were fixed 4% paraformaldehyde, embedded in Tissue Tek (OCT compound), frozen and cryosectioned.
