Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe fluorescent ubiquitylation-based cell cycle indicator (Fucci2) is composed of two transgenes in which the mouse promoter driving ubiquitous expression of two fusion reporters. The mCherry and the ubiquitylation domains of human CDT1 fusion accumulates in the nuclei at G1 phase. The mVenus and the ubiquitylation domains of human GMNN fusion accumulates in the nuclei at S/G2/M phases. Chicken hypersensitive site 4 (cHS4) transcriptional insulator sequences flank the two transgenes. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:196795)
