Mutation details: The Krt15 promoter fragment was cloned into a plasmid with the cre/ERT2 sequence. The vector was injected into fertilized oocytes. Transgenic founders were produced and crossed to EYTP-reporter mice for analysis of recombination profiles. Founder line 12 which targeted bulge cells more specifically than other lines was established and used for further study.
