This construct was injected into fertilized ova to establish a transgenic line. Mice were crossed to reporter mice. At E14.5, cre recombination was observed in all chondrocytes (round, flat, prehypertrophic and hypertrophic chondrocytes) in the limbs and ribs. (J:142326)
