Mutation details: Three mouse bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) transgenic constructs were co-injected to generate this Prism 1989 strain. The BAC RP23-290A18, containing the entire Snap25 gene, was modified by inserting Rpl10a (ribosomal protein L10A) tagged YFP into the translation start site (ATG) of Snap25. The BAC RP23-172H7, containing the entire Mobp gene, was modified by inserting a Myc-tagged Cerulean (CFP) into the translation start site (ATG) of Mobp. The BAC RP23-7M9, containing the entire Aldh1l1 gene, was modified by inserting DsRedMax into the translation start site (ATG) of Aldh1l1. Founder line 1989 was subsequently established.
