Targeting was done in CCE ES cells. Correctly targeted ES cells were transiently transfected with a plasmed encoding cre to remove the neomycing cassette. The resulting cells were used to generate germline chimeras. Cre mRNA expression recapitulated endogenous Eomes expression. (J:176969)
