Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Et(cre/ERT2)25378Rdav expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe Thy1-Cre-ERT2-bGHpA transgene was designed with a mouse Thy1 minimal promoter (-231 to +76), a rabbit beta globin intron (650 bp), a CreERT2 fusion gene (Cre-ERT2), and a bovine growth hormone polyA signal. This transgene was injected into C57BL/6J mouse embryos. To establish founder line 25378, founder mice (F0) were bred to B6.R26-lacZ mutant mice (Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1Sor mutant mice backcrossed to C57BL/6N or C57BL/6J for at least 10 generations. (J:150856)
