Mutation details: A BAC, RP11-35C1, that contains human CD21 and complement receptor 1 (CD35) genes was used to generate transgenic mice. The BAC contains the native human regulatory elements and promoters for CR2 expression. In addition to line 38, lines 18 and 36 were also generated, with line 38 exhibiting the highest expression levels.
