Mutation details: An IRES-EGFP/cre with an FRT-flanked kanamycin selection cassette was targeted to exon 2 of the Wnt7a locus in BAC RP23-53E13. After homologous recombination in EL250 cells, correctly targeted clones were selected and FRT recombination was induced in cells by arabinose to remove the kanamycin cassette. The linearized BAC was injected into pronuclei of B6SJLF1 hybrid zygotes. Mice express an EGFP-cre fusion gene product. No line numbers are available.
