Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Fev-cre/ERT2)#Yqd expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsHomologous recombination in bacteria generated the targeting construct with the cre/ERT2 coding sequence inserted downstream of the Fev (Pet1) start codon within the BAC clone RP23-165D11. The purified construct was introduced into FVB/N fertilized eggs by pronuclear injection. All positive founders were found to be viable and fertile. A line number is not available for these mice.
